LeBron James scores 56 points to lift Lakers past Warriors

ANKARA (AA) – The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Golden State Warriors 124-116, as LeBron James poured season-high 56 points during the Saturday night game.
The Lakers erased the 12-point deficit in the third quarter thanks to LeBron’s impressive form, who scored 40 points through 27 minutes.
Lebron, who tied Trae Young for most points in a single game this season, also added three successive three-pointers in the fourth quarter, while Russell Westbrook finished with 20 points, four rebounds, and four assists.
Carmelo Anthony came off the bench to score 14 points.
Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 30 points and Jordan Poole came off the bench to score 23 points.
The Lakers sit ninth in the Western Conference with 28 wins and 35 defeats, as the Warriors are second with 43 victories and 21 losses.
