ANKARA (AA) – Kylian Mbappe has withdrawn from the French national team after testing positive for coronavirus.

”Kylian Mbappe will miss the game against Croatia. His COVID-19 test – carried out by UEFA this morning – was positive, and he was isolated from the rest of the squad,” said the French national team Monday for the announcement of Mbappe’s test result for COVID-19.

France will face Croatia for the Nations League game on Tuesday.

Mbappe, 21, plays for the Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain as he scored 90 goals in 124 appearances for the French club since 2017.
